The Family is a parent-child relationship in which people live together at least some time, with personal commitments to each other and who identify themselves as an intimate group Chilman, (1978).This research entitled "An Assessment of the Lifestyle of Adolescents from a Broken Family" is a study on the lifestyle of adolescents from a broken family.The study was conducted among adolescents with an age bracket of 16-21 years old who were identified to come from broken families. The study aimed to describe the various lifestyle of the adolescent from a broken family. The study sought answers to the following questions: 1.) What are the lifestyles adapted by the participants in developing their physical, psychosocial and spiritual well being? 2.) What are the problems experienced by the participants from a broken family? 3.) What measures are done to resolve the problems brought about by the lifestyle adapted by the participants?

Qualitative research method was adopted by the researchers as it aimed to examine, analyze and interpret observations for the purpose of discovering underlying meanings and patterns of relationships. The study use purposive sampling in choosing the participants as well among the adolescents with an age bracket of 16-21 years old. A minimum of 3 students were chosen. Individual guided interview was conducted with the participants' at their most convenient time. A voice tape recorder or video camera was utilized with an interview guide in gathering the data needed.

Based on the research data, the study was able to conclude that the participants, separated were children tend to be more acceptable for them to have a broken family than the children whose parents separate during teenage years. The participants also found that one of the major problems that arise after separation is financial. The couples will adapt to the changes arising from their separation.
